WE NEED YOU!!!
Join us Thursday, August 12 at 1pm to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities. We will be discussing needs for the following events:
- Annual Banquet: September 21, 2010
- Art Prize: September 22 - October 10, 2011
- Golf: next summer
We need leaders, followers, doers and sharers. Whatever your abilities and gifts, join us. We need you to make these events happen. Help us share what we do here at Guiding Light Mission. Make a difference!
THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS!
Annually, volunteers provide more than
$219,750*
worth of service at Guiding Light Mission.
We'd like to extend a heartfelt and sincere THANK YOU to all the volunteers who have shared hope, embodied faith, and created a loving community at Guiding Light Mission. From kitchen service and mentorship, to leading Chapel service and providing Bible study, there are a million ways in which community members like you can share your talents at Guiding Light Mission to enrich our community. You truly allow us to continue doing what we do, and serving our neighbors in need. THANK YOU for your faithful service, generosity and support!

Mentor
Mentorship is a vital component of our recovery program. With your help, we can ensure greater success for our clients, both during and after their time at Guiding Light Mission.
We are always looking for strong, commited, Christian men to mentor our program men one-on-one. Your time, friendship, and commitment can help these men to build a solid foundation from which to go on and live as strong, independent, sober men with a deeper relationship to God.
