HEARTSIDE ARTISTS (DaVISONaries)
Ann Platz
"I was a critical care Registered Nurse for five years before having to leave the fireld for ten months, due to pst traumatic stress disorder. In November of 2008, I began doing art for the first time in my life. My art is completely self-taught and is inspired by my moods and my attempt to self-soothe. Art has been a big help in saving my life. Before Heartside, I was in a pattern of self-injury. It has given me something to occupy my mind while I'm off work."
Anthony Harrell
"I had my first school exhibit at the age of sixteen. Art just came to me, and my instructors gave me special attention and projects to work on..."
